Södergren Mk V

The Södergren mk. V is Håkan Södergrens latest call for the 2,4 mR class. He is an experienced designer and has been involved in the class since it's beginning in the eighties.

She is built to the highest standards. The hull and deck is vacuum laminated and ovencured sandwich and only unidirectional fibers is used to optimize strength in relation to the load paths in the structure. This insures maximum stiffnes on minimum weight which undoubtly is one of the major factors deciding performance in the class.

The first boat has been sailed extensively during 2003 and 2004. She is well balanced, easy and comfortable to sail and performs very well in all conditions. We can conclude that she is definitely a competetive boat at the highest level and we are ready to go into production.
